SHARON MBI – A Message of Gratitude “Love Song”

Image
STAR BOULEVARD With Beryl-Ann Achoh The Love of God strengthens ones’attitude to live a fulfilling lifestyle. Sharon Mbi started singing at a young age and has been a worship leader since at the age of 16. But this never motivated her into following the path of becoming a minister of worship and a gospel recording artist.   In the years of 2017 to 2019 Sharon faced a series of challenges that brought her close to God where she felt the God’s love towards her. Only then did Sharon hid to the calling of becoming a minister of worship and a gospel recording artist. As someone who struggles with depression anxiety, Sharon sings to soothe those who find themselves in the same situations. Her ministration comes from a place of deep surrender and brokenness. As a testimony to her community Sharon meets with Star Boulevard to tell her journey of discovery, revival and freedom, giving us the insights on her love story with God and her love for gospel songs. Congratulations on th

US Ambassador Speaks Against Racial Discrimination In America

Image
Speaking for all colleagues at the U.S. embassy, we are outraged by the recent killings in the United States of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor. Their lives mattered and their loss is a tragedy. Americans are now confronting the results of several centuries of persistent and systematic inequality suffered by entire groups of our citizens. In this moment, many Americans from all backgrounds are choosing to pursue the betterment of our nation and the ideals of justice upon which it was founded.  They are using their freedoms of expression and assembly to engage in peaceful protests; a small number have resorted to violence, which is neither acceptable nor constructive. This challenging moment invites us to reckon with a history of discrimination against minority groups and reinvigorate our commitment to fundamental rights and freedoms. The preamble of the U.S. Constitution calls on Americans to come together “to form a more perfect union,” recognizing that democrac

Grabbing Of CDC Leasehold Land: Mafia, High Conspiracy Detected

Image
By Tarhyang Enowbikah Tabe The recent illegal felling of CDC Palms under the guise of land surrender is yet another recurring evidence of many wrong things going on in our communities today.  It would seem perpetrators of these illicit activities have failed to follow the legal instruments laying down procedures for land surrender.  This is the case with Leasehold lands belonging to the Cameroon Development Corporation, a Corporation which is currently facing enormous challenges caused by the ongoing Socio political crisis. The financial impact of these illegal actions to the Corporation is close to FCFA 150 million plus about FCFA 37 million losses that will be incurred for paying workers of those sections for no work done. While the Corporation is struggling to stand on its feet with government support and the willingness of the workers to get back to work, some unscrupulous Fako Chiefs as well as individuals are busy grabbing hectares of land and fellin
