Coming Of Limbe Deep Seaport: National Ports Authority GM Reassures

By Bau Ngoh The Director General of the National Ports Authority (APN), Dr. Louis EBOUPEKE, has offered his warm congratulations to the Lord City Mayor on his election as the new head of the Limbe City Council. This was during a courtesy visit by the APN head to the Limbe City Council on Thursday June 30th 2022. In the fruitful exchange which was the very first meeting between the fine gentlemen, City Mayor Paul EFOME L.M NGALE heartily welcomed the August guest and didn't hide his admirations for the outstanding administrative and leadership skills of the APN strong man. Anxiety Heightens As Ngonnso's Return Flight Awaited

Sources in Cameroon say talks will be launched in the days ahead for the return flight of the Ngonnso’ Statue. According to Reuters News Agency, Germany is set to return the statue that was stolen from Cameroon 120 years ago as part of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation growing trend to give back artifacts taken during the colonial era.   “The date of return is not yet known, it has to be done bilaterally, first with Cameroonian Government through the External Relations Ministry for it to be granted safe return. Other agreements need to be fixed, once it is done, a date will be announced. MTN Cameroon Gets New CEO

  By Tarhyang Enowbikah Tabe MitwaNg’ambi has been appointed new Chief Executive Officer for MTN Cameroon According to a release from MTN in which The Advocate was copied, “MTN Cameroon is pleased to announce the appointment of MitwaNg’ambi as the new CEO of MTN Cameroon, with effect from 1 September 2022” MitwaNg’ambi will be succeeding Stephen Blewett who is leaving the Group for other career opportunities. It should be noted that MitwaNg’ambi who is currently the CEO of MTN Rwanda has been a member of the MTN family for a cumulative 10 years and has also worked in the Benin and Zambia operations. According to the release, during her time at the helm of MTN Rwanda, Mitwa has been instrumental in strengthening the business’ stakeholder engagement. The release further states that she has also led industry transformative initiatives for digital penetration and financial inclusion and oversaw the listing of MTN Rwanda on the stock exchange and establishment of its Fintech subs
