CPDM Fako IA Prays For God’s Intervention Against COVID-19

By Mbonda Lizzy Noel Victoria Group - North America in partnership with some Non-Government Organisations in Limbe on Tuesday May 19, 2020 proceeded with the distribution of over 5000 face masks to inhabitants of Limbe with the aim of accompanying government in the fight of COVID-19 in the City. The launching of ceremony which took place at Half mile on Tuesday May 19 runs till Saturday May 23. Among the donors are; Amen Foundation who launched the distribution at Limbe old Market, Hope for A Better Tomorrow,  distributed at Church Street and Limbe main market while Simple Ladies distributed at Press book  half mile right up to the Mbende junction. Speaking to the Advocate, the Coordinator, Elizabeth Monjowa, said the move is to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the South West Region which has recorded 29 positive cases with 21 in Limbe. They said they will continue their move in other areas of Limbe especially in Limbe II and Limbe III Subdivision.

Media Houses Set To Receive Sanitary Kits From CENPA

Samples of the gift comprising hand-wash buckets, hand sanitisers, a good quantity of face masks, washing soap and disinfectants were presented during a press briefing organised Friday May 15 in Yaounde. This was during a ceremony to handover the rehabilitation health centre of Bakingili and donation of medical kits to the centre that took place on May 12, 2020 at the esplanade of the centre.
