A mathematics teacher of GBHS Bafoussam Rural Kena whose name we got as Aloysius Kwando Odi is said to be in double trouble.

The teacher who hails from Eshobi Village in Manyu Division, South West Region of Cameroon Was kidnapped sometime in late July by separatists fighters who are anti school resumption in the restive Anglophone Regions.

After spending days in the bush with separatist’s fighters, Aloysius Kwando Odi is reported to have disappeared from his kidnappers by yet to be understood means.

News of his Kidnap had spread like wildfire in the village and had attracted Military operatives to the matter.

When he was spotted in the village after his escape, the military also got wind of the information and launched a man hunt for him.

The reason for the manhunt according to security information is for him to take them to the hideouts of the separatist’s fighters since he had spent some days in their company.

Seeing that he is no longer safe from both ends of the crisis, the poor teacher is said to have cut short his stay in the village and moved back to his teaching base.

However, fellow teachers in Bafoussam recount that, there has been some strange visits around his house by security officers alleging that they are struggling to get him even in Bafoussam.

He was finally spotted in town on August 8 in the company of his friends who says after that, his whereabouts is not known.

It is not clear, if he is still in the city or like many other Anglophone youths in such a dilemma, may be taken refuge in nearby Nigeria waiting for peace to return to fatherland.
