Race To Batonnier: Meet Arlette Ngoulla Fotso
Madame Ngoulla Keyben Arlette Léonore was born on June 27, 1957 in Garoua.
Her mother was a Civil Servant and her father was a Magistrate, she quickly immersed herself in the world of Justice.
After her secondary school cycle, she obtained a master's degree in business law at the University of Yaoundé in 1980.
This was followed by a DEA in in-depth commercial law at the University of Paris 2 in 1981.
Back in Cameroon, she joined the office of Me TOKOTO Alfred as a trainee lawyer and became an associate in December 1986.
On September 1, 1997, the firm of Me Arlette Ngoulla Fotso was born with 3 lawyers, 01 trainee lawyer and 07 staff.
Since November 2008, she has held essential positions with the Presidents of the Bar of Cameroon.
From November 2008 to August 2012, she was Deputy Representative of the President for the Littoral region.
From August 2012 to January 2015, she was in charge of special missions.
From January 2015 to November 2018, she again held the position of Representative of the Bâtonnier for the Littoral region.
Her action within the Bar was rewarded in April 2018 when she received the recognition medal from the Cameroon Bar.
Her Mission
Her candidacy draws its strength from her personal and personal history. Since her childhood she has walked the halls of courthouses.
Her vocation has always been to be at the side of people who have suffered injustice.
Her Vision
Her vision is to restore the reputation of the legal profession with the notion of moving towards a modern, strong order with great ambitions
Achievements
Me. Arlette Ngoulla Fotso also distinguished herself at GICAM.
Since 2006, she has participated in numerous conferences.
Since August 2017 to today, she has served as a practicing reference arbitrator at the GICAM arbitration center.
Throughout her career, Me Arlette Ngoulla Fotso has shown her commitment to the profession and institutions.
She was elevated to the rank of Knight of the Cameroonian Order of Merit in May 2011.
She is now running for the position of President of the Lawyers at the Cameroon Bar to confirm her commitment to the profession.
