Chief John  Elufa Manga-Williams the new Paramount Chief Of Limbe has made his  first official outing to thank God and the Government of Cameroon  following his recent confirmation as  the Paramount Chief of Limbe.

A procession of Kingmakers, traditional council, notables and elite, was led with songs of praises to the Ebenezer Baptist Church; March 31 for a Thanksgiving Service.

Reading from the book of 1st Samuel 10, Pastor Ewole John, who presided at the thanksgiving service, described how God instructed Samuel to anoint Saul as he was proclaimed King before the people of Israel, so shall the Paramount Chief stand tall among his peers.

Rev. Monjimbo Joseph, one of the founding fathers of the Ebenezer Baptist church was given the honor to anoint and ordain the New Paramount Chief.

“There have been spiritual and physical struggles but the church has been strongly behind him and we believe that God has made a seal for this day to come to pass”. Pastor Ewole John said.

In a meeting between Chief John Elufa Manga Williams and the SDO of Fako, the paramount chief expressed jubilation and appreciation for his people in his Mbonjo residence.

“We thank God who has given us life and to whom all power belongs and from whom we can tap power and the administration who carried out this exercise and my community for being very supportive over the years”. He said.

It is worth noting that the seat of the Limbe paramount stool has been vacant for the past seventeen years after the death of Chief Bille Furgosson Manga Williams.

This approval gives the community a full traditional ruler who governs over the affairs of the custom and tradition of the people.
