Dr Kinge Bounces Back With Swiss Care Medical Consultations

The former Director of the Limbe Regional Hospital and the Bamenda Regional Hospital, Doctor Thompson Kinge seems to be retired though not yet tired.

He has bounced back with a lot of energy as the Director of Swiss Care Medical Consultations.

The Community oriented media practitioner and specialist who has now emerged as The Director of Swiss care medical consultations in Limbe, has revealed that patient’s care will be the priority of his private health care set up.

He made this revelation on Saturday October 15, 2022 during the official launching of the hospital.

Speaking during the launching Dr. Thompson Kinge said the vision of Swiss Care Medical Consultations is to compliment what other hospitals have been doing but with emphasis on patients’ care.

“We’ll do things differently in the sense that; we’ll give the patients the opportunity to have something to say about their treatment. We shall respect people according to their traditions, dignity, communicate more among others” Dr. Thompson Kinge said.

He lamented that, over his 40 years working in hospitals in Europe and Cameroon, he has observed that many patients are unhappy and are not satisfied as they are treated like children, assaulting their dignity and lack of proper communication among others.

“Swiss Care Medical Consultations is coming to be very aggressive in the way people are sensitize regarding their health, we are going to meet these people at their homes, offices and wherever”,

“So we can carry out minimal physical examination, take viral signs and offer them advise if we believe that there’s a reason for them to go to a hospital we’ll advise them to do that. So this is how we intend to approach medical care in Limbe” Dr. Thompson Kinge explained.

He added that they will be carrying series of health campaign to sensitize the population about health related diseases to reduce premature deaths. He emphasized that one of the essential benefits is that, there will be thorough follow up of patients.

The Chief of Wovia village in Limbe II Subdivision where the Swiss Care Medical Consultations is based, Chief Dikanjo George, expressed joy that the long awaited health institute has come to their village.

He added that, Swiss Care Medical Consultations has come to ease the population from the distance they usually take to get to the hospital.

It should be noted that, Swiss Care Medical Consultations will be dealing with cases such as, bacterial infections, fungi infections, general consultations among others.

According to a few Manyu Patriachs who witnessed the ceremony, the EKANDIM is kind of a female Sesseku.
