Young Cameroonian Lawyers Converge On Las Vegas

A contingent of Young Lawyers from across the
National territory together with The President of The Cameroon Union Of Young Lawyers,
Barrister Agbor Nkongho are currently in Las Vegas, United States of America.
Their mission is to attend the most awaited
gathering of the year; with a great presence of world class Legal Luminaries,
Thought Leaders, tech-companies, Inventors and more, in a 3-day Scientific,
Research and Networking program known as the Law 2.0 Conference, taking place
at the Caesar’s Forum from July 10-12, 2023.
The President, Barrister Agbor NKONGHO who is
leading a League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, was honored as a Keynote Speaker
on day 1 of the conference.
The erudite President presented a paper entitled
“Legal Contours of Doing Business in Sub-Saharan Africa — The Case Of OHADA
Member States.”
Through a few case studies, Mr. President was able
to illustrate how businesses can successfully operate in OHADA member states
and the growing economic potentials of this region.
In an exclusive interview granted him, the President
was keen on paying tributes to the President of the Cameroon Bar Association,
Barrister Mbah Eric Mbah and the Honorable Matron of the Union; Barrister
Esther Félicité Zeifman.
Reverence was also given to the Founding Fathers, Senior
Barrister NDJOH MANGA Henri,Senior Barrister Charles Metoukson Delangue, Senior
Barrister EBA’A MANGA, and to Past Presidents; Barrister Daniel Blaise NGOS and
Barrister Cosmas OWONA MBARGA.
Mr. President concluded his interview by throwing
light on over 500 Members of the Union who excelled in various domains of the
Law industry in Africa and abroad.
It should be noted that Young Lawyers of Cameroon
have surpassed the ‘stratosphere’ under the distinguished Leadership of the
very dynamic Learned Barrister Agbor NKONGHO, who rose to the helm of Cameroon
Union of Young Lawyers on November 19, 2022.
