 In this Interview, Igor Yegnon, MTN Cameroon's Sales & Distribution General Manager speaks on the Giga Promo the company made to its distributors.

What is the reason for this GIGA PROMO?

At MTN Cameroon, we have a culture of excellence, and we support our distributors on a daily basis to enable them to give their best.

At the end of all these efforts made during the year, we felt it was important to celebrate performance by rewarding all our partners for their resilience and loyalty. 

What were the objectives? And the results are they satisfactory for you?

Through this challenge, we wanted to stimulate the market by considerably improving the product presence at all levels of the chain with various winning mechanisms for our customers.

 We obtained satisfactory results and understood that the quality of the prizes (luxury cars, motorbikes, cheques, etc.) available for grabs made it possible to further motivate the partners whose broad smile today translates their immense satisfaction, and therefore ours.

Through these awards, what message do you want to convey to the distribution chain?

Beyond the strong symbolic value of the prizes, this is an expression of our gratitude to the partners for their trust. Several of them have been working with us for many years, and this is a message of assurance that we will continue to support them.

Thanks to them, we are now unbeatable on all fields. We are committed to growing with them and continuing to provide quality service to all our customers, because our customers are also theirs.

Dr Mrs. Agbor Meg Crowned "EKANDIM"

  By Tarhyang Enowbikah Tabe Dr Mrs. Meg Agbor has been crowned with the EKANDIM title in Manyu Division, Southwest Region of Cameroon The Ekpe of Ndekwai in concert with Ekpes from Ossing, Ntenako, Talaghaya, Nchang, Egbekaw Nfuni etc crowned her as "EKANDIM" hours before this write up in Ndekwai village. According to a few Manyu Patriachs who witnessed the ceremony, the EKANDIM is kind of a female Sesseku. “Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), the first case in Cameroon of which was reported by the Ministry of Health on March 6 2020.   To date, more than 800 cases have been reported in Cameroon despite the measures that were put in place by the governm ent.
