Women’s Day 2022: Hotel Seme Beach Shines Faces Of Patients

True in their character, the staff and management of
Hotel Seme Beach, Limbe have it as a tradition to celebrate Women’s Day with
those who are sick and admitted in the hospitals.
This year was not different as the ladies made a
first stopover at the Manyemen Annex Hospital in Limbe on Friday March 5, 2022.
The activity was to comfort nursing mot
Basic needs were donated to the patients they met in
the wards as well as supply needs for the hospital management.
Speaking to the patients, the staff expressed wishes
of quick recovery especially in trying times.
On Women’s day proper the ladies, apart from taking
part in the March Past and presenting Cultural Fashion Parade, they took the
premises of the Idenau District hospital by storm.
There was a visit to the wards of the hospital and
then those found in the wards were spoiled with gifts from the company.
Speaking to The Advocate, Miss Ekane a staff of the Hotel said it was but normal that they share the little they have with those who lack.
A visitor to the Hotel from the United States Of
America who accompanied the team, Dr Ruth Vinga expressed satisfaction with the
action of the Management and Staff of the Hotel.
“This has greatly moved me and I am taking back fond
memories to Maryland and promise to do my part in this gesture whenever the
time is right.” She said.
To Yann Anoko, the General Manger of Hotel Seme Beach, it is not a show of excesses put a show of love with the little they have.
Yann told reporters that it is not like they are ok
and in peace, rather that they are happier and picking up from the casualties
caused by the crisis in the hotel sector.
Yann equally lauded its partners that accompanied them in the project such as Total, Atlantic Bank, Afriland First Bank, Atabong Enterprises, Akoudou Fruits, Mr. Trap as well as its media partners, The Advocate Group, CAM 1 TV, HI TV and Le 4eme Pouvoir.
After the official Women’s Day activities, the ladies were released to join the rest of the women folk in celebrating their day in pomp, ambiance and pageantry where they were later joined by the General Manager, Yann Anoko for the feast.
